Derrick Brantley is a native of Savannah Georgia. He graduated from Alfred Beach High school in 1999. Derrick was appointed as a Mentor/Board member for T.I.P Organization in May 2018. Prior to his appointment, Derrick worked as a Youth Advocate for Chatham County Youth Advocate Program, which focused on at risk youth through the Department of Juvenile. He spent the early part of his career working as a chemical plant operator. While working as a chemical plant operator he noticed the increase in crime amongst youth in Savannah. This is when he began to focus his attention on the youth in his circle. Having three boys of his own he realizes he had to be apart of the change in Savannah. He notices many of the youth in Savannah was missing the same thing, a positive male role model. Derrick believes in T.I.P Organization Inc. Mission he also is inspired by several of Fredrick Douglas quotes but one in particular sticks with him,  “It is easier to build strong children than to repair broken men.”

Latrell Ferguson is a graduate of South University where she obtained her Masters of Professional Counseling. She is also a graduate of Savannah State University’s Criminal Justice program where she acquired her undergrad degree. Latrell has over 12 years of experience working with youth. She has served as an advocate for youth involved in the criminal justice system. Her focus was to assist in the rehabilitation of each youth through education, job readiness, critical thinking skills, and community service. She has also worked in as a case worker in a homeless shelter for youth in the greater Savannah area. At the shelter, Latrell provided youth and their families with individual, family, and group counseling. She worked close with other community agencies to provide community linkages to further assist each youth and their family. Latrell has a passion for improving the lives of the youth within her community in effort create a cycle of change. She is currently in pursuit of her license as a Professional Counselor. Through the experience she has gain while working with youth who experience severe mental health illness, she has acquired and met all the necessary requirement for licensure.

Amber Fielder is a graduate of Paine College where she obtained her bachelors in English. While in school, Amber was apart of the Psychology club, English Club, Dance Team, Concert Choir, various organizations on campus and the president of organizations. Though she isn't a native of Savannah, Ga, she moved to the Coastal Empire in 2006 where she graduated from Windsor Forest High School in 2013. She began her membership with TIP Organization in May 2018. Amber embarked on a new profession when she began working with TIP. She's worked with Early childhood education and daycare settings for five plus years where she's able to apply previous trainings towards TIP as well. Some of Amber's focus with the youth are letting them know they can truly do whatever they put their minds to, set goals and go after them. Though Amber is new to working in this field, she is able to provide many attributes such as mentorship essential life skills. Amber is enthusiastic to learn the field and reach the youth in our community to create change.
